Enter the file size in GB or GiB, the link rate in Mbps and the percentage available for file data. Use Transfer time to estimate the duration at that steady useful rate.
Example: 5 decimal GB at 100 Mbps with 90% useful throughput takes about 444.44 seconds, or 7.41 minutes. At 100% it would take 400 seconds.
Mbps means millions of bits per second; file sizes are in bytes. Use the unit shown by the source of the file size: GB and GiB differ. Useful throughput is your assumption; congestion, storage speed and competing traffic can change the actual time.
