Calculating the example…

Enter an IPv6 address and prefix. Use Network as the containing prefix; First address, Last address and Address count describe its complete address space.

Example: 2001:db8:42:7::93/64 belongs to 2001:db8:42:7::/64. Its final address is 2001:db8:42:7:ffff:ffff:ffff:ffff.

Prefixes /0–/128 are accepted. IPv6 has no broadcast address, and the whole range is not an assignable-host list. Keep subnet-router anycast and your platform’s reservations in mind. Use /64 where required for SLAAC. Interface zone identifiers are not accepted.
