DNS tools

Find a record, compare a recent change or check the exact value a service asked you to publish. Choose the tool that matches your question.

DNS lookup

Read A, AAAA, MX, TXT and other record types, including returned aliases and TTLs.

Compare resolvers

Ask Google and Cloudflare the same DNS question and see the differences.

TXT record checker

Look for an exact verification value without confusing it with other TXT records.

Email DNS check

View MX, SPF, DMARC and a selected DKIM record together, with clear limits.

Reverse DNS lookup

Find PTR records for a public IP address and optionally compare the forward mapping.

Start with the question

After changing a record, use Compare resolvers. For Search Console or another service's verification, use the TXT checker and paste the exact expected value. For mail setup, use Email DNS check, then investigate any reported limitation rather than treating a published record as proof of delivery.

What these tools can see

These tools query public recursive resolvers from your browser. They do not inspect your registrar account, your company's private DNS or every cache on the internet. They do not change records. A public answer is one observation of a specific name, record type, provider and time.
